I've finally moved over to a completely manual review and creation process for chatroom accounts, a necessary step in moderation and peace of mind moving forward.
From now on, new users who wish to join our chat will need to follow the instructions on the registration page, and I will need to review each email and create the account myself.
If you already have an account, you do not need to send me an email. This is for new account creation only while self-creation is disabled.
This will likely deter, or at least slow down, further trolling.
As a thank you for your patience with chatroom changes, and because we have more control over who enters the chatroom, I am temporarily bringing back boxcode in chat as a trial run. I will be strict with this, however: if you break any rules with an image - such as posting profanity or disallowed content - your account will be deleted, and you will have to email me to create a new account.
